We’ve always been taught that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, and that by baking him cookies or cooking him dinner, he’d be hooked forever. This is a nice, albeit outdated, idea and may still be true for many men. But according to a recent study, this theory may actually hold more truth for women than for men.
This post from ABC 17 News reveals the results of a study from Drexel University that suggests women respond better to romance if they've recently been fed. Sex and relationship therapists have always known that it can take a lot for a woman to "get going" in the bedroom, from de-stressing after a long work day to being properly turned on during foreplay, but this takes that concept to a whole new level. Now, besides just setting the mood with candles in the bedroom, men should also ensure that their significant other has had a decent meal before doing the deed, too.
